Thursday's blog has been renamed to Think about it Thursday :) I just felt that I would run out of Trade it in tips so this works better, plus I love the sound of it!! Think about it...
I do a lot of thinking, actually I am thinking about things right now as I type. It is crazy how fast my mind goes and how many things I can actually think about at one time. Call it ADHD or just call it my crazy life but that is how I function.
I have so much going on in my mind that I am literally so forgetful. That is why writing down things are highly important to me. What kind of things do I write down?? I write down when my bills are due, how many miles I log and most importantly how much food I eat....etc. I could go on and on about all the list I make but today I want you all to think about a Food Journal.
You need to be real to yourself when you are trying to drop the weight. The best way to do that is writing everything you eat down every bite, lick and taste! A food journal is your accountability piece and for most the missing puzzle piece to their success. It keeps you focused and away from BLT's... all those are Bites, Licks and Taste. My bet is that once you write down how many calories a few Hershey kisses are you will be more likely to pass them up next time you pass your co-workers desk.

A small notebook could work
My fitness pal is a great place to go to journal food and exercise. Actually I highly recommended it to anyone that wants to track calories.
